About The Tree of Life Design
The Tree of Life is an ancient symbol that represents connectedness. It is commonly depicted across cultures and faiths from all over the world, and denotes wisdom, enlightenment, growth and strength. It is thought to bring positive associations for the wearer.
Why I Chose This
I picked this particular item to give to Squiggle when she is older. I like the idea of her having something special from me; with pictures of us inside, a design that represents connectedness and is worn close to her heart, and a special engraved message, this is perfect.
Review of the Necklace
The Tree of Life engraved locket necklace is sterling silver with rose gold finish. The locket itself measures 19mm in diameter, and the necklace chain has an adjustable length of either 16 or 18 inches. It is a really pretty necklace; the tree of lovely design is beautiful, and the pink tint to it is very eye catching. The locket isn’t too fiddly to open and, although it feels quite delicate, seems well made. As would be expected, there is space for a small picture both sides within the open locket.
The engraving is easy to arrange via the website when ordering; there is a section to choose exactly how you want it set it, style, and of course wording. The engraving itself on the necklace is a little hard to read under some lights but is done with skill and care. It is a nice finishing touch to an already unique item. A lovely personalised gift!
The engraved necklace also comes well presented in a lovely luxury gift box too.
