  6. The Hersey & Son pendants are so pretty; classy and personal. I’d be tempted to add a birthstone pendant, as pictured, they go beautifully with the star and initial.

  7. My favourite Mothers’ Day gift is flowers. I don’t agree with people who say they’re too generic; they’re perfect for brightening up the home in early spring.

  9. My favourite Mother’s Day gift was my daughter making me a card in nursery it still means the world to me as it had taken me many years of recurrent miscarriages and fertility treatment before being finally being blessed with our daughter. So I absolutely love Mother’s Day but even though I have had some lovely presents nothing tops that first card she had made herself.

  10. The grandchildren make vouchers with treats to use when I like, the best one this year was “You can have a bath for an hour without me coming in for a poo!”

  11. My daughter chose a bath bomb for me because I love soaking in the bath. It was a perfect gift and all the more special because it was her idea rather than daddy’s

  12. My ideal Mothers day would go something like this, It goes a little something like this, the evening to myself, the house is fairly clean, clean bedding, a pamper shower (a shower where I shave myself and exfoliate!), moisturize, clean PJ’s, a takeaway, diet cola, movie of my choice! WOW ! Beautiful jewelry, love the star and initial, put it on my wish list!
