Protest Swimwear Review #AD

Protest Sportswear is a fashionable brand with an excellent range of swimwear options for men, women and kids. I took a look at their latest 2020 collection, which has a lovely selection of different styles in gorgeous colours and patterns. Their theme for this collection is ‘the map is our home’; the colours and prints take their inspiration from world travels. It is a cool concept that results in many possibilities when shopping for new swimwear. The awesome mens range includes PVRE boardshorts which are made from 100% recycled polyester; by processing PET bottles into yarn. Others are made from sustainable fabrics, such as bamboo. I really like the fact that this brand is eco conscious and the efforts made to be more sustainable. They have also started offering a wider range of mens sizes too, which is good. The womens collection has different types of swimwear including tankinis, bikini sets (including an awesome mix and match collection) and one piece swimsuits. The bikini sets have various styles including triangle bikinis and push-up bikinis to choose from too. There are also some pretty beachwear/ summer tops and dresses as well. Review

I spent some time on the website looking at the different styles of swimwear, for both myself and Squiggle. There is a lovely range of colours and prints in styles. I found the website was abit slow on occasion and is not always the easiest to use but the fabulous collections make up for that minor thing!

After much deliberation, I decided on a tankini set for Squiggle and a bikini set for me. I also threw in a dress for those summmer days too. The dress is really comfortable, fits well and I love the colour palette used.

The bikini is a nature inspired green leaf print design. This particular set is part of their mix and match collection. The bikini top is padded and underwired. The MM Zucci bikini bottoms are regular fit with folded top. The fabric is also PFC-free in an effort to reduce the use of this chemical and thereby it’s harm to the environment.

The fabric is thick and good quality, and the bikini fits very well; it feels secure and comfortable to wear. I really love the natural design of it too, and the subtle green is a nice shade. I am really impressed with all the items!
