What to See in Dubai

Day 1:

Burj Khalifa

The Burj Khalifa is an absolute must-see during your first visit to the city, seeing as how it’s claimed the world record title as the tallest building in the entire world! At a total of 160 storeys and almost a thousand meters in height, it’s the best place to get a bird’s eye skyline view of the city sights down below. You can book tickets to as high as the 125th floor – and even as high as the 148th floor if you’re okay with paying extra money. The priceless and once-in-a-lifetime sights are definitely worth seeing. To get the most bang for your buck, it’s best to book your tickets far ahead in advance because the prices are more affordable that way. While you’re already in the downtown area, you can also check out the Dubai Mall for some luxurious shopping.

Day 2:

Souq Madinat

For souvenirs, dining out, and general shopping, Souk Madinat is one of the best places to visit in Dubai. They have a mixture of all sorts of items, ranging from spices and local delicacies from traditional Arabian stalls and shopping stands, to luxurious boutiques and high-end stores. To top off the day you can also take a scenic Abra ride through the Dubai water system and snap pictures of the city’s stunning architecture and streets with ease.

Kite Beach

Of course, being in a desert, Dubai is home to wonderful sandy beaches. Aside from lounging on the shore and admiring the stunning waters, there are lots of rental shops along the coastline where they can let you borrow equipment for paddleboarding, kitesurfing, and wakeboarding. The view of the Dubai horizon from Kite Beach is definitely something to marvel at as well.

Day 3:

Dubai Desert Safari

If you have an entire day to spare, it’s definitely worth it spending it at the Dubai Desert Safari. You can check out their variety of deals which include not only a tour through Dubai’s sandy, sunset orange deserts, but also horse riding, dune bashing, sand boarding, camel riding and much more!
