Now we are back in lockdown, Knowsley Safari are offering some virtual educational sessions for all the animal lovers out there! They have HomeSchool Safari, Art in the Park and Wellbeing Through Wildlife. Here are all the details you need to know… Wellbeing Through Wildlife Wellbeing Through Wildlife is running 11am daily during Children’s Mental Health Week (Monday 1st until Thursday 4th February). This is a fun event created in line with the six ways to wellbeing; Body, Mind, Spirit, People, Place and Planet. For more information and to book the sessions see Wellbeing through Wildlife. Art in the Park Art in the Park is a collaboration between Knowsley Safari and Kirkby Gallery to provide a unique series of virtual learning sessions led by professional artists. Live streamed from the Safari, supported by both live and pre-recorded content from Safari experts and the Gallery team, the free outdoors-inspired sessions are aimed at anyone keen to learn more about the natural world and a range of art techniques. There are two events; ‘Staffin’ the Safari’ and ‘Revisioning the Rhino’. Each event is four sessions long and led by a professional artist. Art in the Park

Art in the Park is a collaboration between Knowsley Safari and Kirkby Gallery to provide a unique series of virtual learning sessions led by professional artists. HomeSchool Safari

Home School Safari is packed with exciting educational, wildlife and conservation resources; including engaging educational videos and talks, downloadable worksheets and fun animal facts. Visitors to the Home School Safari can see the Knowsley Safari vet conduct an x-ray on a male African Lion to diagnose an injured paw; get up close to watch Kuzma the Amur Tiger having a root canal and look straight into the eye of a camel on ‘Keeper Cam’. Read more at the Home School Safari online hub.
